A quick and convenient way of communicating with us is through e-mail. Although one-on-one meetings are important, emails can provide immediate feedback and comments between the teacher and parents. Feel free to email us at the following addresses:
A Discipline Card is used to keep track of student responsibility and behavior. The card is kept in the student’s discipline folder and is taken to all classes. If there is an infraction of the rules, or missing supplies, the teacher will sign this card. Cards work on a two-week rotation.Teachers also reserve the right to issue Referrals or Detentions at their discretion,
depending on the offense.
Conduct Sheets and Wednesday Folders (red)
will be sent home every other Wednesday afternoon. Please watch for these important
folders and help your child return them the next day. A parent signature is
required on papers. Signed folders and papers should be returned on Thursday.
If papers or folders are not returned by Friday, students will have a time out
at recess and their discipline card will be signed. Only a written note from
parents/guardian will excuse them.
Assignment Books are a necessary part of our study skills.
You can help your child become more organized by looking at the assignments
frequently.
A Test/Project Calendar is posted in the hallway near
the 5th grade classrooms and inside of the 4th grade classrooms. Please check
the calendar for dates of upcoming tests and events. There is also a calendar
in the assignment book that the children keep.
