Mission
of the Annual Fund Drive
St.
Michael Catholic School has the privilege of providing a faith-based
education for the students of our parish. The faculty and staff
provide a positive environment where students can develop an understanding
of their faith while receiving a quality education. The Annual
Fund Drive is St. Michael Catholic School’s only fund-raising
effort. The cost of educating each child at St. Michael exceeds
the tuition for each child. Contributions to the Annual Fund Drive by
school families, parishioners, grandparents, alumni, and foundations
close the gap. Join us in supporting this integral part of our
parish community.

What
is the purpose of the Annual Fund Drive, and how are the proceeds allocated?
The Annual
Fund Drive is St. Michael Catholic School’s only fund-raising
effort where proceeds go directly into this year’s budget.
The cost of educating each child enrolled at St. Michael exceeds
the tuition by approximately $750. The goal this year is set at
$350,000. Of that amount, $255,000 is part of this year’s
operating expenses which helps finance daily school life such
as utilities, school program supplies, repairs, equipment, etc.
The additional $95,000 is set-aside for an Educational Enhancement
Fund that is used to improve our school’s technology, facilities,
or any other educational resources that might be needed. Contributions
to the Fund Drive by parishioners, school families, grandparents,
alumni and foundations bridge the gap and help with this year’s
budget. Remember, if your company has a matching fund program,
you can double your contribution.

How
is the Annual Fund Drive campaign organized?
The
Fund Drive is a simple letter-writing campaign involving approximately
100 school family volunteers. A steering committee helps in all
aspects of the Fund Drive coordinating various teams. A packet mail-out
to parishioners, school families, grandparents, and alumni begins
September 25th, 2007. The Fund Drive campaign continues through January 31, 2008. If you misplace your pledge card you may pick
up another in the school office or simply download one from this
site. Contributions may be made by pledges (monthly reminders will
be sent), check or credit card.
