St. Michael Catholic School Principal, Chris Skowronek, is the first recipient of the Sally Landram Excellence in Education Memorial Award established through the generosity of the John W. and Alida Considine Foundation. Cardinal Daniel DiNardo and Superintendent Sr. Kevina Keating presented Ms. Skowronek with this award at the Opening Schools Mass on Thursday, August 12 attended by the pastors, principals, teachers and staff of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. This award is given to Ms. Skowronek for being a Catholic school educator who exemplifies the legacy of excellence and professional dedication to Catholic education.
In her 28 year career, Ms. Skowronek has dedicated her life to education and children as a teacher, Assistant Principal, Principal and Associate Superintendent. St. Michael Catholic School is honored to be guided by such an exceptional and recognized educator. It is through her leadership that St. Michael continues to grow as a community.
